Feeling Stuck in Business? The Rebrand That Helped Me Move Forward

A Fresh Start: Why I Needed to Rebrand

Change has always been part of my creative evolution. For years, I’ve shaped and reshaped my work, adapting to new phases of life, new passions, and new realizations. But in December of 2024, I had to admit that something wasn’t working anymore.

For over 15 years, Lexisworks had been a space for my creativity to flourish, but it also carried the weight of everything that hadn’t quite worked out. The passion was there, but the business I had built no longer felt sustainable—or fulfilling. I was trying to fit myself into a single path, rejecting design, then art, only to realize I needed both. Because I am both.

That’s when I knew it was time for a rebrand—one that wasn’t just about a new name, but about realigning my business with who I am today.

I needed a fresh start, one that fully embraces the breadth of my creativity, honors my skills, and allows me to show up fully as both an artist and a designer. And so, Most Beautiful Design was born.

The Unexpected Path That Led Me Here

When I graduated in 2007, I thought my degree in graphic design and marketing was my golden ticket to landing my dream job at a boutique design firm. I even secured an internship in London, ready to launch my career.

Except… no one returned my emails when I arrived. Instead of designing, I ended up frosting cupcakes in a London bakery.

That moment was just the first of many career twists.

The dream job never happened, and instead, I found myself on a winding path—one that led me to start my own business. What began as a need to create evolved into Lexisworks, a brand that allowed me to experiment, learn, and build something uniquely my own.

I sold art, designed products, took on freelance projects, and eventually pivoted to teaching. But as much as I loved the creativity, something was missing.

When Passion No Longer Felt Sustainable

Turning my passion into a business didn’t guarantee fulfillment. Instead of feeling inspired, I was exhausted, pushing to make it work while losing the joy that drew me to painting and doodling in the first place. No matter how much I adjusted, it still didn’t feel sustainable.

Giving up crossed my mind, but deep down, I knew I wasn’t ready to walk away from my creativity—I just needed a new way to channel it.

What I truly needed was a rebrand, one that aligned with the work that excites me, sustains me, and allows me to show up fully as both an artist and a designer.

Introducing Most Beautiful Design

Most Beautiful Design is my fresh start—but it’s also proof of what I do best. I help entrepreneurs reimagine their brands in a way that feels fully aligned, just as I did for myself. It’s a complete reimagination of my work, crafting vibrant, authentic branding + Squarespace websites that are packed with personality, creativity, and purpose.

This isn’t just a new name. Most Beautiful Design is my work in its fullest expression—a true reflection of my energy, creativity, and authentic presence in the world.

It’s the boutique design job I always wanted—only now, I’ve built it for myself. It brings together everything I’ve learned as an artist, designer, and teacher into a seamless, thoughtful design process—one that creates alignment not just in visuals, but in how my clients feel about their work.

I know firsthand that when your brand truly reflects who you are, everything shifts. By blending creativity, strategy, and vision, I take an intuitive approach—distilling abstract ideas into visuals that feel both deeply personal and strategically impactful, so my clients can experience that same transformation.

If your business no longer feels right, you don’t need to start from scratch—you need a brand that evolves with you. That’s exactly what I help my clients do: create brands that align with who they are today, so they can step fully into their purpose.

I help purpose-driven entrepreneurs bring the most beautiful expression of their work to life through intentional, standout design that captures their true identity.

When clients feel aligned with their brand, they show up with confidence, excitement, and the energy to do their most transformative work.

My role is to bring that clarity to life, making their brand a true reflection of their brilliance.

Could that be you? If my work, perspective, or creative vibe resonates with you, let’s bring your brand to life. Let’s chat!

What About Lexisworks?

For now, Lexisworks isn’t going away, but my focus has shifted. Because writing my newsletter is something I truly enjoy—it's a space where I get to share stories, explore creativity, and connect with a community of like-minded people navigating this world with love, empathy, and authenticity.

At its core, my mission remains rooted in helping others express their unique brilliance with creativity and intention. But now, it’s evolving—expanding beyond art to include branding and website design that reflect not just creativity, but the deeper vision and purpose behind a business.

Whether you’ve been here for years or just joined, I truly appreciate you. Your support, encouragement, and feedback have shaped my path, and I wouldn’t be here without this incredible creative community. I’m so grateful to share this space with you and excited for what’s ahead!
